The results of
Emma's recent work with Tracy Hill - researching alternatives to the
traditional rosin aquatint - appear in the most recent edition of Printmaking Today and at http://nontoxicintaglio.tumblr.com.
There is a wonderful
exhibition of Matisse's illustrated books showing at the Walker Art
Gallery in Liverpool until March. Emma collaborated with the exhibitions team
to create the replica plates int the first room.
Emma is currently working
on a project with Jutta Vollmer of the Graphikwerkstatt in Köln. Jutta sends Emma a print and Emma
responds. The result is a conversation in print form. The best of this
will be shown in Germany in October. See links page.
And finally... she has
started
a new body of work using the stored collections of the University of
Liverpool as source material. Link to her
project blog here.
